Your body needs breakfast.
Your heart needs truth.

You are loved
before you perform.

“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14, King James Version

You do not have to earn God’s attention. His love is not waiting on your next achievement. It meets you exactly where the morning finds you.

Questions people
ask us first.

What exactly is No Bible, No Breakfast?

It is a daily devotional rhythm built around one idea: give the first part of your morning to God’s Word before the rest of the day claims it. Each day gives you a verse, a short reflection, a question to talk about, and a truth to carry with you — seven steps in about twelve to fifteen minutes.

How long does it actually take?

Twelve to fifteen minutes end to end. The reading and reflection take about five, and the rest is conversation, gratitude, and prayer. On a rushed morning you can do the first three steps in five minutes and still have something to carry.

Do I have to be a morning person?

No. The name is about order, not the clock — Word first, then the rest of your day. Plenty of people run the rhythm over a late breakfast, on a commute, or at the end of a shift. Consistency matters far more than the hour.

Can I use it with my family or a small group?

That is exactly what steps four through six are for. The daily question is written to be answered out loud by a six-year-old or a sixty-year-old, and the gratitude and prayer steps give everyone at the table a turn. There is no leader’s guide to prepare.

Which Bible translation does NobNob use?

Scripture quoted on this site comes from the public-domain King James Version. The reflections are original writing, and you are welcome to read the day’s passage in whichever translation your household already loves.

Is NobNob connected to a particular church?

No. NobNob is an independent devotional resource. It is not an official General Conference, conference, or local church publication, and it is written to sit comfortably alongside whatever congregation you belong to.

Day 001 · Identity

You are loved before you perform.

“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14, King James Version

It is easy to believe you must do something special to be seen or loved. But Jesus made room for children in the middle of a crowded day. His attention was not a prize they had to win. It was a gift.

Take one quiet minute today and remember: your worth did not begin with your achievements, and it will not disappear when you fall short.
