Reflection

Sometimes people form opinions based on mistakes, on appearances, or on hard seasons. But God looks deeper. He knows your heart, He knows who you really are, and He sees everything you can become when you walk with Him.

Zacchaeus was a tax collector. A lot of people did not like him, because they believed he had made bad choices and that he only cared about himself.

One day he heard that Jesus would be passing through his town. Since he was short, he climbed a tree so he could see Him.

When Jesus reached that spot, something surprising happened. In the middle of the whole crowd, He saw him, called him by name, and decided to visit his house.

A lot of people did not understand why Jesus would want to get close to someone like Zacchaeus. All they could see were his mistakes. But Jesus saw something much deeper. He saw a heart that could be transformed. He saw a person of great worth. He saw someone who needed love and a new chance.

That meeting changed Zacchaeus's life. After he met Jesus, he began making different decisions and repairing the harm he had caused.

Zacchaeus's story reminds us that God does not define us by our mistakes, by our weaknesses, or by what other people think of us. He looks at our heart and sees the potential He placed inside each one of us.
