Reflection
Sadness can feel heavy and lonely, but God does not step away from you in those moments. He knows your heart deeply and stays close, even when other people do not fully understand what you are feeling. You never have to hide your emotions from God. He welcomes you with love, patience and care.
Ana had been sad for a long time. She had prayed many times and still felt a deep emptiness in her heart. While other people seemed happy and settled, she carried her pain in silence.
One day she went to the temple and began to pray before God with complete honesty. She was not trying to look strong or to hide her emotions. She simply opened her heart exactly as it was. The people around her did not really understand what was happening. God, though, understood. He saw every tear, every thought and all the sadness Ana carried inside her. Over time, Ana discovered something important: God does not step away when we are sad. Sometimes we think we have to feel fine all the time, or hide our tears so we will look strong. Yet God stays close precisely in the moments when we most need comfort.
Sadness does not push God away from you. He knows how to care for hearts that are tired, wounded and confused. And even in the middle of the pain, His presence stays near.
