Reflection
Healthy boundaries help build relationships that are more honest and more safe. God does not want you living under constant pressure, fear, or emotional exhaustion. Learning to say what you need with respect is part of growing up with maturity, wisdom, and love for the people around you.
Brené Brown has spoken many times about how much healthy relationships matter, and about learning to set boundaries with love and clarity.
She explains that the most loving people are not the ones who say yes to everything all the time.
Very often they are the ones who know how to care for their own emotions, respect themselves, and treat others with honesty and balance.
Sometimes we think that setting boundaries means being selfish or pulling away from people. But healthy boundaries help protect the relationships that matter.
When someone learns to say what they need with respect and honesty, they also build bonds that are safer, more honest, and healthier.
God does not want relationships marked by fear, by manipulation, or by constant pressure. He wants to teach us to love in a healthy way, with respect, truth, and care for one another.
Healthy relationships do not control you and do not keep hurting you. They respect each person's limits, emotions, and decisions.
