Reflection
Jesus showed that real love is also expressed in acts of service, empathy, and care. God wants to help you love people with more patience, humility, and compassion. Very often the deepest love shows in how we treat, day after day, the people he places in our path.
Jesus spent much of his ministry helping, listening, and drawing near to people that others usually ignored.
He spoke with love to those who were sad, worn out, sick, or rejected. He also taught his disciples to treat people with compassion, patience, and mercy.
One night, while they were sharing supper, Jesus did something that surprised everyone: he began to wash his disciples' feet.
It was a simple, humble task, but through that gesture he wanted to teach a deep lesson: loving also means serving, caring, and treating others well without pride.
Sometimes we think that loving is only feeling something beautiful. But Jesus showed that real love also shows up in actions, in choices, and in the way we treat people every day.
God wants to teach us to love with humility, empathy, and sincere kindness. Jesus' love never made people feel small; it made them feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
