Serving other people does not always call for big gestures. Very often love shows up in actions that are simple, steady, and sincere. Helping, pitching in, and noticing what people need also makes your heart and your relationships stronger. God can help you love in practical ways every single day.

Valentina came home tired after a long day at school. As she walked in, she noticed that her mom was trying to do many things at once and looked worn out.

For a moment she thought about going straight to her room to rest. But she decided to stay and help a little, without anyone asking her to.

She started tidying the house, helped set the table, and stayed with her mom while they finished together what was still left.

They looked like simple things, and yet the house felt calmer and lighter afterward. Sometimes we think that serving only means taking on big tasks. But serving also shows up in simple gestures: helping, pitching in, keeping someone company, or looking for a way to lift a bit of the load off another person.

God wants to teach us to love not only with words, but with actions.

Real love very often shows itself in the small daily gestures of care and service toward the people who are close to us.
