Reflection

Frustration often shows up when things do not turn out the way we expected or take longer than we would like. Feeling frustrated does not make you weak or a bad person. God understands those moments too, and He can help you find patience, direction and calm while you keep growing and learning little by little.

Moses was trying to lead the people of Israel through the desert, but many times things did not go the way he expected. The people complained, argued and seemed to forget very quickly everything God had already done for them.

There were moments when Moses felt tired and frustrated. Sometimes he felt he was carrying too much weight on his shoulders. He even told God how worn out he was.

God did not ignore his emotions. He did not ask him to pretend he was fine either. Instead, He began to help him, to give him direction and to remind him that he did not have to do everything alone. Frustration shows up when something takes longer than we expected, when things do not go the way we planned, or when we feel we are trying hard without seeing quick results. Feeling frustrated does not mean you are failing. Sometimes it only means you are human and you are going through a hard stretch.

God can also walk with you while you learn patience, rest and perseverance in the moments of frustration.
