Keeping fears quiet often makes them look bigger than they are. Talking with people you trust and saying out loud what worries you can bring relief and support. God is not bothered by your fears. He wants to walk with you and help you find peace, even in the middle of uncertainty. Valentina had been worried for several days about something she had not told anyone. At night she had trouble falling asleep, because she pictured bad situations and thought too much about everything that could go wrong.

During the day she tried to act normally, but inside she felt tired and on edge. One night, while she was talking with her mom before bed, she finally said: “Lately I have been feeling really afraid.”

After she said it, she felt relief. Not because all her fears disappeared right away, but because she was no longer carrying them alone.

Sometimes we think that talking about our fears makes us weak or dramatic. But hiding them all the time can make them grow even bigger inside us.

God does not want you to carry your worries alone.

He listens to what you feel, and He can also use people to walk with you, support you and remind you that you do not have to face everything on your own. Talking about your fears does not make you less strong. It can also be an important step toward healing and peace.
